I especially like the one where all the houses have been taken over by green.
Thank you, Julie. The one you like the most is…yes, from Portugal.
Beautiful shots for green, esp. the first one.
Thanks, Amy. I am really happy you found them beautiful.
Yes, the first one is my favorite.
Green, green grass of home…here, in Latvia. Thank you.

Great green images and quotes.
Thank you very much.
Green is soothing.
Beautiful!
It definitely is, Mei, thank you. Very much…live and calming at the same time.
beautiful words and photo
Thank you – I will take credit just for the photos
but the words seemed to fit there to be quoted.
wow! green rocks!
If I had green thumbs, I would definitely boast about that
but since that isn’ t the case at all, I had to go with this greenness.
Such lovely and refreshing choices. I wonder how it is that I recognized that first one without ever having been there? hmmm…
Thank you so much, Gunta. The recognizing part….but that’ s wonderful you did, isn’ t it?!
yes, indeed
Wow!
Excellent post!
Thank you

I find green so calming. My office walls are painted sage green, and there is a rug on the floor that’s predominately that colour, too. Then, I have my computer on a desk that looks out of a window at a shaggy green lawn and lots of architectural green shrubs and trees. When I’m sitting at my desk, it’s as if I’m in the garden. Can be a bit distracting though, if I see an interesting bird, or my resident albino squirrel out of the window.
Your pictures are lovely, and that Chinese proverb is spot on
Thank you so much. True, green really is calming. The shades of green I see around me here there are very pleasant for an eye, soothing and also energizing at the same time. A wonderful mix for making one feel…simply good. Or better at least.
Especially if there’ s a feeling of being in the garden – even with those “nature’ s distractions” you mentioned. I think it must be a part of inspiration for your wonderful blog.
