Weekly Photo Challenge: Change

Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don’t resist them;
that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality.
Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like. /Lao Tzu/

  6. “Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like”. Lao Tzu touches supreme wisdom in these simple words. Your photos Ese express the natural flow of nature that has no need of words of wisdom but continues to do what it does in unselfconscious beauty. Only humans ever question the natural flow….

    1. Thank you, John. There’s so much wisdom and peacefulness in those lines by Lao Tzu that I wasn’t able to resist putting them with the photos. The natural flow…if people only knew they themselves are tiny parts of it…

I like the use of word “spontaneous” in the second quote. It accepts the no-destiny, no-fate theory. What do you think ?
I personally am with the theory that says life is a series of acciedents and can not be looked at as part of some grand scheme….

    1. People are so different, so are their lives, including destiny, fate and everything else like that. Does destiny define what will happen? Does the person define his/her destiny? Are we able to change the future? Wouldn’t it be really sad and rather…unfortunate if we weren’t able to…?
See, how many questions raised you one “What do you think?”, Tatsat. A very dangerous thing to ask it seems… ๐Ÿ™‚

Haha ๐Ÿ™‚ Yeah dangerous indeed ๐Ÿ˜‰
Its always a privilege to get replies as enthusiastic as yours.
I guess it is not my fault entirely. If you would not have been this zealous and sincere in replies, it would not have tried to comprehend your views on topics. I mean, yes the quotes and posts already speak a lot. But it is always good to understand your personal viewpoint- maybe I will learn something from you in the process, right ?

You brought this on yourself ๐Ÿ˜›

        1. I have the tendency to “jump” with my opinion even when I am not asked to so…believe me it is much more pleasant to speak out when I am finally asked to! ๐Ÿ˜€
Learning something in the process – I believe we all do in one way or another. Giving and taking. Taking and giving. ๐Ÿ™‚

Haha ๐Ÿ™‚ you are talking of unsolicited opinions- tell me about it ๐Ÿ˜› I can barely stop talking even when I must ๐Ÿ˜ฆ Some medical disorder probably in both of us I guess ๐Ÿ™‚

You are right. One way or the other, we do pick up things here and there in each and every interaction that we engage in. And every single interaction has a bearing on the person we get to be- maybe a little, but it is there. Like I had this high school teacher, who on last day of school talked about various things- I still remember that conversation and over the years, have realised what he meant then. Nothing goes away ๐Ÿ™‚

            1. Medical disorder – still laughing… That kind if “diagnoses” I haven’ t got so far but…you know what they say – something new every day. And if I can “write it down” as a medical problem, good for me. At least I can always keep giving opinions freely – asked or not!
Yes, I know what you mean – there’ re conversations, the things said that make sense at once but there’ re some that only do within some time. Or more than just some. Like good wine. ๐Ÿ™‚

Yes, exactly like a good wine. And when you get drunk often, you begin to appreciate the quality of wine as against a novice who is just trigger happy with any sort of alcohol ๐Ÿ˜›

Write it down ? Like get it tattoed on head or something so that everyone knows what is coming their way ๐Ÿ˜€ Good idea !!
