The Latvian Song and Dance Festival has been held every five years and it’ s coming this summer again
When the Rose Valley in Bulgaria is all in blossoms, it’ s time for the Rose Festival
What a colorful parade 🙂

Thats lovely! I believe if one wants to explore a country well, such festivals are the apt starters. You know… get a better feel of people and traditions there, than going over the so called “tourist destinations” rightaway 🙂
And, that is why it would be a good idea to attend my wedding before you explore India 😛 Point justified 🙂

Oh, give me “real, true country” any moment over so called “tourist atttractions”! Of course, it’s not a bad thing to see as much as possible – starting from the “obligatory minimum” all the way to everything else but the real life….yes, it’s further away from what is mentioned in the advertisement materials.
Your wedding – yes, I think it’s safe to say we have agreed on that one! Sounds like a plan and I have written it down in my “diary”! All there is left is for you to come up with the date. 🙂

Lovely snaps and very good for this week’s challenge. I also like your header photo a lot. Your comments box’s message is great. Would you mind me stealing it?

I think culture can also close the mind and tighten the spirit. I’ve seen that often enough.

Like I often say – depends on people and the perspective we look from at the things. Based on our own experience, Don, of course.
