We, humans, have lost the wisdom of genuinely resting and relaxing. We worry too much. We don’t allow our bodies to heal, and we don’t allow our minds and hearts to heal. /Thich Nhat Hanh/

Love Thich Nhat Hanh, your photos and your message. The rest periods known to some Europeans are so precious that, according to a local here on the west coast of Canada, working more than 6 hours per day is considered insane. As well, some visitors looked around at all people have, cars and homes, etc and while they don’t have that, said they didn’t want it because look how angry everybody is. Sad but true. I watched after that to try and see what they saw. Oh boy. It’s scary. We used to be precious about rest and now it seems to have shifted to being, doing, having. Without me, I am glad to say 😀
