My challenge is my passion – a photo you have taken and a quote, attributed to its author, and of course related to your image. Every week on Sunday I will post a new prompt.
I want to thank my fellow bloggers who have already become a part of this challenge. Everyone’ s welcome to join! All you have to do is:
– create a post of your own with the title Ese’s Weekly Shoot & Quote Challenge – Obsession;
– include a link to this post also for others to find you.
Let your ideas flow and enjoy! Ese
Prompt 10 – OBSESSION
I only have one obsession – not to be boring. /M.Hazanavicius/
And there’s so much in that one obsession…
…discovering new things that take one’s breath away…
…learning and developing…
…sounds of music…
…finding inner peace…
…spending time with loved ones who make the world turn 🙂
What is your relationship with obsession?

Ese,
I like how you gave obsession a positive light. I tend to see it as negative. I guess it’s because of my experiece with it. Here’s my take on the prompt:

Ahhh … so many wonderful obsessions. I like the pix with the violin. Playing an instrument does require you to be obsessed. Practice .. practice … practice … I played the clarinet and hated that word. But, I’m glad I took up an instrument. I know the difficulty of playing; many make it seem easy.
Great photos ….

Thank you, Issy! I know exactly what you mean – I was in Music school for 8 years and in that time I hated to even look at the piano. The appreciation of the knowledge I gained there came after years. 🙂

Wonderful images, Ese … i discovered as I was preparing for this prompt and Sonel’s split toning — that before I left TX to travel to take care of my mom for 2 weeks in LA … I inadvertently deleted ALLLLLL of my photos (10+ yrs worth) …. I AM SICK … so I may miss a few prompts 😦 I am hopeful that a data recovery guy can retrieve them for me! Prayers lifted and fingers crossed!!
