Carpe Diem Haiku Special *Alexey Andreyev’s “Empty Swing”*

Today on Carpe Diem Special there is another haiku, written by Alexey Andreyev (Алексей Андреев) to inspire us:

* * *
summer evening –
empty swing swaying slightly
forward … back …

* * *

I am following with mine, trying to keep it of the same mood and spirit:

* * *
another storm
raindrop rush through wind chimes

  1. Oh my goodness! I just posted my poem… so like yours! I love your rain on the wind chimes…. I can even hear it! I’ve no idea when you posted but I promise, I did not read yours!

    1. I have the feeling we posted at the same time – when I started, yours wasn’t there yet and, when the process was complete, it already was 🙂 Just read…yes, the same mood has been definitely present… Yours is beautiful, Wabi.

  2. What a nice surprise. I just read Wabi’s entree to this Special … you have both used the windchime in your haiku. Can’t be a coincedence … you both tuned in on the same level. Awesome response on Alexey’s haiku.

Plato believed an opinion is the medium between knowledge and ignorance. Fancy to share yours?
