This week our inspiration on Carpe Diem Special is another haiku, written by Alexey Andreyev (Алексей Андреев):
* * *
morning awakening:
among window curtains’ flowers
a blade of gray sky
* * *
The following one is mine, where I tried to stay close to the same mood and spirit:
* * *
tea ceremony
among cherry blossom kimonos
glimpse of pale wrist

very nice

Wow Ese … what a wonderful haiku you have written for this Special … it’s more than only in the spirit of Alexey … it’s the spirit of Alexey. I love to use this haiku for one of our Tan Renga Challenges … if that’s ok.

Thank you very much, Kristjaan! Must admit I really like Alexey’s haiku in general, they seem to “click” with my perception of the world. The one outside as well as inside. 🙂
I would be flattered if you would use it for Tan Renga.
