Carpe Diem Special *Soen Nakagawa’s “One note of the Shakuhachi”*

This week on Carpe Diem Special to inspire us there is a haiku, written by Soen Nakagawa:

* * *
One note of the shakuhachi
resounds endlessly
piercing the winter clouds

* * *

The following  ones are mine – I tried  not to wander away too far from the same mood and spirit:

* * *
beeps of alarm clock
emerge rapidly
rupturing morning stillness

* * *
last notes from orchestra
vibrate in silence
defering waves of applause

* * *
