Carpe Diem Tan Renga Challenge *Rotsu “before the spring equinox”*

This week Carpe Diem Tan Renga inspiration is a beautiful haiku by a not so well-known haiku poet Yasomura Rotsu. Our goal is to add a second stanza to it.

before the spring equinox;
the cold will last
                                 only a night or two more                (Rotsu)

illumined by fireplace
                              stripes of woolen socks                   (Ese)
