What a romance in your first haiku Ese so in tune with the essence of Buddha’s quote in which (in a deeper layer) love is so clear. Your second haiku however is my favorite, because of its simplicity in the scene. Thank you for sharing.

both of these are wonderful. they have such depth. I see the first as an allusion to the light and darkness in the self. the second delivers such hope. and on top of that (and not least) they are beautiful descriptions of physical reality
