Thank you! I decided the litograph version of the painting would fit the best here π

It does actually, our eyes are not distracted with colour and the main theme.

Really appreciated, Sue… I was thinking of a few ways of putting it in words and stopped at this one. π

Clinically white reminds me of those hospital walls. And the time I wanted to scream, only I couldn’t. But of course, that is all behind us… π
How do you manage to come across such litograph is beyond me!

What can I say…you caught the place perfectly! And I am very happy that is in the past where it should definitely stay. π
The litograph…you see, it has been Impressionism month on Carpe Diem Haiku Kai, so when I saw the new prompt was “Scream”, the first thought was about Edvard Munch. And all there was left to do was just to choose the litograph version (not the painting) for my haiku. π

You’ve captured this very well. Love that you used a lithograph of ” the scream”, it really suits your poem.
