Carpe Diem Haiku *Shiki “reeds tremble”*

Our source of inspiration on Carpe Diem today is a haiku, written by Masaoka Shiki:

* * *
at the full moon’s
rising, the silver-plumed
reeds tremble
* * *

The following one is my attempt to stay close to the same mood and spirit:

* * *
moonlit window sill
trembling with light brush of fingertips
reed blinds

I want to thank my fellow bloggers who have already become a part of this challenge. Everyone’ s welcome to join! All you have to do is:

– create a post of your own with the title Ese’s Weekly Shoot & Quote Challenge – Touch;

Let your ideas flow and enjoy!  Ese

Prompt 21 – TOUCH

I want to touch the heart of the world and make it smile.
/Charles de Lint/

These lines were written by me some moons ago and this seems to be a tailor – made post for them to reappear:

We touch each other
not just with lips
and fingertips.
Also with light
and shadow.
With words
and silence.
With joy
and sadness.
With presence
and absence
we touch.
Each other…

Now it’s all up to your imagination…
