This week our source of inspiration on Carpe Diem Special is a haiku, written by Jim Kacian:
* * *
city morning
a crane lifts its shadow
up the wall
* * *
The following ones are mine – an attempt to stay close to the same mood and spirit:
* * *
wet asphalt
maple leaves drink in autumn
awaking city
* * *
echoing through smog
cacophony of car horns-
city is awake
* * *
Wonderful. I can hear the car horns.

It’s what I think of concrete, blaring horns and the garbage trucks…

Ah yes so early in the morning city streets come alive and scents of exhaust. Fortuantely I work evenings, so I only get lunchtime traffic but relax on the drive home. I could hear that honk honk honk 🙂

I love your first interpretation but the second one sings to others in spite of my views. My view is nature rules in spite of us, others may not had the same view as I.
Lovely post Ese. Peace~John
